Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Acacia Coast Pty Ltd trading as Cleanbright (ABN 83 690 274 492) (“Cleanbright”, “we”, “us”) handles personal information collected through shop.cleanbright.com.au. We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
When you place an order we collect your name, email address, phone number, delivery address and, if you order with Invoice Me, your business, strata or organisation name. We also keep a record of what you ordered and how you paid.
When you send us a message through the contact form we collect your name, phone number, email address, location and your message.
We do not collect or store your card details. Card payments are entered directly into Stripe’s secure payment form.
How we use it
We use your information to process and deliver your order, send you order confirmations and invoices, contact you about your delivery run, respond to your enquiries and meet our legal and tax obligations. We do not use your information for marketing without your consent, and we do not sell it to anyone.
Who we share it with
We share your information only with the service providers we need to run the shop:
- Stripe, which processes card payments
- SMTP2GO, which sends order and contact form emails on our behalf
- our website host, which stores the site and its order records
Some of these providers store information outside Australia, including in the United States. We only use providers that protect personal information to a standard comparable with Australian law.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
Cookies
The shop uses cookies that it needs to work, such as those that keep your cart and checkout session. Stripe sets its own cookies at checkout to process payments securely and prevent fraud. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies on the shop.
Security and how long we keep it
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. Order records are kept for as long as we need them for the purposes above and for our tax and record keeping obligations.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by contacting us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable time.
If you have a concern about how we have handled your information, please contact us first and we will try to resolve it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
